This is a beautiful example of a new style of Bird's Eye Rhyolite from Madagascar that I've seen come available of late. This sample is good for those interested in collecting the many forms of Agate, Jasper, or sometimes other minerals, or for those interested in pendant jewelry.

Bird's Eye Rhyolite is a variety of Rhyolite which contains variably-colored orbs or spherical inclusions or zones. This material is quite attractive when polished and is used as an ornamental stone or gemstone.

Although this is a cab, you can also glue on "bails", or have the piece drilled to accept a pinch bail. Either approach will let you turn this sample into a fine pendant.
